Their tasks are:
PROFESSIONAL DRIVER: he has years of experience, knows Rome and other important Italian cities very well
but he doesn't speak perfectly English.
He organizes your tour just as driver-guide being able to explain roughly the sites you will see. On request he can
suggest you good typical restaurants,
shops and so on.
DRIVER-GUIDE (DG): he speaks perfectly English knowing history and history of art and organizes your tour illustrating
the itinerary respecting your interests and preferences.
A driver-guide anyway is not allowed to do specific guided tours through museums
and major churches since such explanations can be done only by special city
guides!
Which of these two options is the best for you?
PROFESSIONAL DRIVER TOUR:
-
Is useful in the case you have already visited Rome before and you just want to do a short round-trip to refresh your
memories.
-
You want to see Rome in limited time and house bold budget does not allowed to take a professional driver-guide.
DRIVER-GUIDE (DG) TOUR: is useful in the case you want to get detailed information about museums, churches and
monuments or any place you wish to see.
Since DG tour has more extra-services it is more costly than just professional driver tour.
